Being interviewed by Canal Itv, the mayor of ITU (city in which Tomorrowland Brazil is hosted) Guilherme Gazzola managed to make us excited for a possible Tomorrowland 2018.
Talking about his current management, the mayor emphasized the importance of tourism and major events for the city of Itu. One of them is the real interest in receiving the festival once again in the city, being that the event generates several direct and indirect jobs, as well a great movement in the city of Itu and in the cities near of the Parque Maeda.
When he was questioned about tourism, Guilherme Gazzola said that one of the intentions of the management is to support and bring events that generate great circulation in the city. Asked if he had contact with the Tomorrowland festival organization, the mayor said the talks were positive and said there was a good chance the international event would happen next year.
NÓS RETOMAMOS DESDE JANEIRO, AS CONVERSAS COM ELES [ORGANIZAÇÃO DA FESTA], E ELAS CAMINHAM BEM, EU DIRIA QUE HOJE NÓS TEMOS 80% DE CHANCE DE TER O TOMORROWLAND EM ABRIL DO ANO QUE VEM AQUI [EM ITU].
It seems that the city wants the festival to come back in 2018, but as long as the organization does not release any official notes we will hopefully hope that it returns in 2018 to Brazil!
