The electronic supergroup Swedish House Mafia have sparked new rumours of a potential reunion last week when the trio updated the cover photo and profile picture on their Facebook fan page. The group ended their union in 2013. One member of the group, Swedish Greek DJ Steve Angello, took to Twitter to respond to frenzied queries from fans because many are expecting SHM play a surprise show at Ultra’s 20th-anniversary in Miami, later this month.
Ultra has teased fans by saying “expect the unexpected”, but Angello clarifies that this actually means there will be nothing unexpected. His tweet was brilliant and said “It’s like when you go to an amusement park and the slogan says to expect the unexpected before you enter the haunted house” The group’s manager Amy Thomson has also eliminated rumors of the reunion by asserting that she was just “cleaning their socials” by uploading new photos.
